Secretary of the Higher Education Department (HED) KP, inaugurated the online mandatory training for teachers at HEART Academy in Hayatabad

Honourable Dr. Aneela Mahfooz Durrani, Secretary of the Higher Education Department (HED) KP, inaugurated the online mandatory training for teachers at HEART Academy in Hayatabad, Peshawar. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Directors of affiliated formations and presidents of teachers' associations. Secretary Dr. Aneela Mahfooz Durrani addressed the trainees through Zoom and emphasized the importance of online training, as well as her commitment to strengthening HEART Academy and aligning its development with recognized institutions like NSPP, NIM, and PPSA. She highlighted the need for upgrading the Academy, exploring new trends, conducting feasibility studies, and granting it greater independence. She also shared valuable insights on training methodologies and character building.

During her speech, Secretary Durrani acknowledged the active involvement and tireless efforts of Mr. Waheed Khattak and Mr. Jamshed Khan, Presidents of the teachers' associations representing General and Commerce colleges in KPK. She recognized the crucial role of teachers in society and their contribution to social development and tolerance, emphasizing the indispensability of training to meet modern needs and relevancy.

Mr. Tasbiullah, Director of HEART Academy, delivered a detailed presentation discussing the Academy's structure, legal basis, and future vision. He highlighted the challenges faced by HEART Academy, such as financial difficulties and building structure issues. Mr. Tasbiullah expressed gratitude to Secretary HED for her keen interest in developing HEART Academy and organizing the online training program, despite the limited resources and financial constraints. He thanked all the dignitaries for their presence and expressed satisfaction with Secretary HED's leadership and continued support.
