Secretary of HED recently handed over the keys of HIACEs to Government Postgraduate Colleges

In a significant stride towards empowering educational institutions, Secretary of the Higher Education Department (HED) Dr. Aneela Mehfooz Durrani, recently handed over the keys of HIACEs to Government Postgraduate College Miranshah, GGDC Miranshah, and GDC Mir Ali. The distinguished recipient of these keys, Mr. Rehan Khattak, the Deputy Commissioner of North Waziristan, graciously accepted the responsibility of overseeing the distribution and management of these vehicles. Accompanying him on this momentous occasion were Colonel Saud and other officers from the HED.

The provision of transport facilities to these colleges marks a pivotal moment in bolstering education in the region. Secretary HED emphasized that these efforts are aimed at fostering enrollment growth and enhancing service delivery within these academic institutions. By bridging the transportation gap, students and faculty members will gain improved access to these colleges, paving the way for a more inclusive and holistic learning environment.

The decision to allocate HIACEs to these colleges reflects a deep commitment to overcoming geographical barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for education. The newfound accessibility will not only attract more students to enroll but will also enable existing students to attend classes regularly, participate in extracurricular activities, and access educational resources more conveniently. This initiative aims to empower students with the means to pursue their academic aspirations without the hindrance of transportation challenges.

Furthermore, these vehicles will facilitate faculty mobility, allowing teachers to travel effortlessly between colleges and deliver their expertise effectively. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among educators, this initiative aims to enhance the quality of education imparted to students and promote a vibrant academic culture.

The provision of transport facilities to these colleges is just one step towards a larger vision of empowering educational institutions. The HED remains dedicated to promoting student-centered learning environments, encouraging innovation, and equipping colleges with the necessary resources to foster academic excellence.
