Message from Dr. Aneela Mahfooz Durrani, Secretary Higher Education Department, on the occasion of 14th August 2023

Honorable citizens of Pakistan and the esteemed community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,

As we celebrate the 14th of August, we not only reminisce about the spirit of independence but also reflect on the great vision that forged our nation. Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah once said, "With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve."

This message encapsulates the core values of our beloved Pakistan – Unity, Faith, and Discipline. In the sphere of higher education, these principles guide us daily, ensuring that our youth, the future of Pakistan, receive the quality education they deserve. The Higher Education Department remains steadfast in its commitment to work diligently for our nation and the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As we move forward, let us all resolve to uphold the hard-earned independence of our nation and to further the ideals on which Pakistan was founded. Together, we can achieve the heights that our forefathers dreamt of.
